Tag-Time # 2 ~ Perfect Imperfections

Aloha All!

I think a lot will no the idea behind: We always tend to see what we do not like but never cherish enough the things we do like about ourselves. So this tag is to name 3 things which you do not like so much about yourself and afterwards name 3 things you do like. (Important: First idea was to name looks not habits etc ... but as I write it - I will start one with habits and typical behaviour of mine).
So, let's begin ...

with the 3 things I do not like about myself:
* Feet: I don't like feet in general and mine are especially damaged as I played soccer and broke one or the other toe (and let me tell you: they decided to stay funny and strange ... it looks kinky).
* Knees: Dito - I find them strange. Knees look so freaky & as much as I love to wear skirts & dresses: This part of my body is freaking me out (I mostly cover this with leggings & tights = Thank you for inventing this!)
* Belly: This is were I gain weight easily and as I had/have some serious problems with my stomach I always see/ feel it on the outside that something is wrong again... But hej, everyone has something like that, right?

Now we should turn to the 3 things I like about myself:
* Eyes: They are brown - nothing special, not extraordinary but still I like them. I am told that they look awake, warm and friendly (don't ask me why). My eyelashes are quite long, so thats good I guess ;-)
* Ears: Again nothing special but they are nice & small & mine =) (I have a kind of obsession with ears ... I like the small ones )
* Hands: I have normal hands with long fingers and an ok form for finger nails, so that is great. I think they look elegant and as I was also told more than once they would be perfect for the piano... Hmm, I should think about this!

TagTime # 1 ~ 5 Facts About Me

#1 I am addicted to peanut bars & peanutbutter.

#2 I haven't eaten pasta in the last 7 years - I don't like the consistence of pasta (argh, it is so creepy) ... let me correct this: I hate the feeling of pasta in my mouth!

#3 I wake up in the morning around 5 am ( mostly without an alarm)

#4 I always wanted Matchbox Cars for Christmas (no Barbie stuff!!!) But never got it ...

#5 If I get a question where I have to decide between two things  (either A or B) I will most definitely simply answer with "yes" because I want BOTH! Don't kill an option if you can enjoy bot, right?

High Five # 8 ~ Nail polish

Aloha All,

I am currently obsessed with corals-peachy-pink colours. Spring is arriving and summer is already a nice promise to come, so here are my top used and most adored nail varnishes at the moment.

How I love “Meet Me At The Coral Island” (old version) by Catrice. I am so glad I have this colour – so many people asked me for the colour (even strangers on the train)! Yay, it is a bright coral, with strong pink pigments. Still it harmonizes with peachy colours perfectly.

Next nice colour (unfortunately not as long lasting as the Catrice one) is Flamboyant by P2 (discontinued). This colour is slightly lighter but still an adorable coral colour (a bit washed out effect of the Catrice one).

P2 Midnight Kiss is definitely one of my all-time favourites as this creamy orangy-brown colour is perfect for work & evenings. Nice “no matter what I wear, it looks chic”-colour.

Catrice has a nice colour which I am holding on to for 2,5 years now: Clay-ton, My Hero! It is a mud colour with golden sheen & very delicate golden sparkles in it.

Especially in autumn & winter I adore it and it goes along with simply everything (seems like it is matches warm colours & cold ones … crazy but very nice for work as well). Unfortunately they discontinued it as well (I have bought 5 bottles for back up but only 2 are there any longer – gosh!).

Last but not least adorable is my "Big Spender Wanted" by Catrice - this colour is a typical "Yay, here I am!"-colour which means a hot pink with shimmering golden sheen to it and hot pink, lilac and golden sparkles in it. LOVE!

Today I want to start something new which is called “Signature Look Of The Moment”. Because I am often finding myself to reach for certain products a lot in a row and every time I am not sure what I should do I fall back on this comfy look (comfortable in the sense of easy-peasy to apply & I don’t have to stress myself out).

Challenges 2 Challenge

Aloha All,

you might have noticed that I am not putting up so much more challenges right now and here is the reason: I challenge my challenges!

I just want to ensure I don’t start too many things at once and then feel stressed about it. In future I will pause for several weeks from challenges and will continue the started ones.

Apart from that I of course will start one if something incredible special crosses my mind. But just to have said that.

Further I breached with my 1 book a week challenge as I am reading at the moment a lot of fashion magazines & literature and I am not sure if this is what I should put up here ( I feel like this blog is more and more wandering in the beauty direction and I am not to keen although I love beauty & fashion blogs a lot). It is just that I think, that there is no need to start a full beauty/ fashion blog as there are soooo many out there and I am really not that good in it: I wear what I like, I don’t go with trends as I am always stepping away from things all people like (I will wear it years after when no one thinks it is cool anymore). You see, I am definitely not predestined to start this topic.

But still I will bring all of my inner perspectives in this little beloved blog of mine and maybe I will write even more thoughts and personal moving topics on here… let’s see.
